The Human Cells Core for Translational Research (HCCTR) at Banner Sun Health Research Institute provides high-quality human biospecimens including fibroblasts, PBMCs, iPSC-reprogrammed cells, and DNA, RNA, and protein from cells, to support biomedical research. HCCTR works closely with the Brain and Body Donation Program, which tracks older adult participants during life and studies their organs and tissues after death. This collaboration enables HCCTR to offer donor-matched samples, such as fibroblasts paired with brain or peripheral tissues, along with each donor’s comprehensive medical history, clinical data, and neuropathology reports. These resources are shared with qualified researchers worldwide to advance understanding of Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Lewy body dementia, REM sleep behavior disorder, cancer, and related conditions. Over 3,000 donors have contributed since 1987.
