The Cedars Sinai Biomanufacturing Center (CBC) is 25,000SF state-of-the-art current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) biomanufacturing facility comprised of (i) 10,000SF of dedicated cell culture, process development and scale up laboratories, (ii) 12,000SF of cGMP cleanroom cell production and quality control (QC) laboratories, and (iii) 3,000SF of iPSC biorepository labs with >1,200 iPSC lines, advancing biomanufacturing research-grade iPSCs and differentiated cells. Serving academic and commercial biopharma partners, the CBC is focused on producing the next generation of advanced cell therapies, with special emphasis on supporting translation of iPSC-based cell therapies in IND-enabling clinical trials. With world-class expertise in stem cell biology, bioprocessing, tissue engineering, cGMPs, translational, regulatory, and manufacturing, the CBC is a leading integrated GMP biomanufacturing center within a hospital system.
