Benedetta Artegiani and Delilah Hendriks co-lead their shared lab in the Princess Máxima Center in the Netherlands. Benedetta Artegiani obtained a PhD in cell biology and neural stem cell biology from the Graduate School of the MPI-CBG, Dresden (Germany) and after that continued with a postdoc in Hans Clevers lab in the Hubrecht Institute (NL). After obtaining a PhD in liver toxicology at Karolinska Institutet in Sweden, Delilah Hendriks joined the lab of Hans Clevers, working on human organoid models combined with diverse genetic engineering tools. During their postdoctoral period, Benedetta and Delilah joined forces and since then, they have been leading their research lines in the field of human brain and liver organoids and their use to address human biology in health and disease.
