Dr. Paul Pang has 15 years of research experience in disease modeling and translational medicine for cardiovascular, neuromuscular, and rare diseases. Paul completed his graduate research at Harvard Medical School and received his PhD from Baylor College of Medicine. He then completed postdoctoral training at Stanford University studying iPSCs for translational medicine. For his work in disease modeling and drug discovery, Paul received the NIH F31 and F32 Fellowships, R21 Exploratory/Developmental Research Award, R44 SBIR Award, Idea Development Award from DOD, Discovery Quest and Translational Research Awards from CIRM, and other competitive national and international awards from the AHA and the MDA. His work currently focuses on pioneering novel applications of iPSCs to accelerate drug discovery and advance precision medicine to address clinically unmet needs.
