Assistant Professor Nienke de Graeff leads research on the ethical implications of emerging biomedical technologies at the Department of Biomedical Ethics & Health Law, LUMC. Her research addresses ethical questions surrounding embryo models, cell and gene therapy, organoids, and organs-on-chips, among other areas. Additionally, Dr. de Graeff serves on several advisory and policy committees, including the Netherlands Committee on Genetic Modification (COGEM) and the Ethics Committee of the International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR).
