Stem Cell Reports Author
Dr. Xudong Fu is a principal investigator at Zhejiang University. He acquired his bachelor's degree from Zhejiang University and his doctoral degree from UCLA, followed by postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School under the mentorship of Professor Yi Zhang. Dr. Fu’s research focuses on elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying cell fate determination in the contexts of totipotency and aging. His work has mapped the molecular trajectory of the 2-cell-like (2C-like) state transition in mouse embryonic stem cells (mESCs) and identified novel regulators governing this process. His findings have been published in prestigious journals, including Developmental Cell, Nature Cell Biology, and Cell Metabolism, and are reported by media platforms, including National Geographic, Scientific Americans, and F1000prime.
