Stem Cell Reports Author
Dr. Sangbum Park received his B.S. in Animal Biotechnology and Ph.D. in Stem Cell Biology from Seoul National University in South Korea. He completed his postdoctoral training in the Department of Genetics at Yale University, where he pioneered a live imaging platform to study tissue repair in vivo. Currently, Dr. Park is an Assistant Professor at Michigan State University in the Department of Medicine (Division of Dermatology), the Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology, and the Institute for Quantitative Health Science & Engineering. His lab investigates the fundamental principles of tissue regeneration in the context of skin injury. His research combines intravital imaging and genetic approaches to study how cellular interactions guide wound repair and how these processes fail in chronic or inflammatory settings.
