Chao C. Liang, BDS, MDS (she/her/hers)

Chao Liang(BDS, MDS) earned her bachelor’s degree in Dentistry with distinction from Jilin University, China, in 2020. She then completed her master's degree in Dentistry, specializing in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, at the West China School of Stomatology, Sichuan University, China, in 2023. Her research focused on biomaterials and craniofacial regeneration. Chao participated in a national standardized resident training program, serving as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at the West China Hospital of Stomatology for three years(2020-2023). Currently, Chao is a PhD Candidate from Faculty of Dentistry at The University of Hong Kong. Her work involves developing 3D multifunctional micro-tissues through a self-assembly strategy. Her research interests include designing multifunctional smart biomaterials for diverse biomedical applications, particularly in combating oral diseases and promoting craniofacial regeneration.
