Kai Lei, PhD

Dr. Kai Lei joined the faculties of the School of Life Sciences at Westlake University in 2018. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Wuhan University and Ph.D. in Developmental Biology at the Institute of Developmental Biology and Molecular Medicine of Fudan University. He then became a postdoctoral research associate at Stowers Institute for Medical Research. The research in Dr. Kai Lei’s laboratory investigates the mechanisms governing tissue regeneration and has made obvious contributions to the fields in the content of new methodologies, biological insights, and mechanisms.
