Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics, Germany
I am a postdoctoral researcher in the laboratory of Prof. Ludovic Vallier at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Genetics, Germany. My research focuses on understanding human development, with a specific interest in the hepato-biliary system. For this, I am developing human pluripotent stem cell-derived organoids that mimic hepato-biliary organogenesis. For my current research, I received both a European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) and a Peter & Traudl Engelhorn Foundation (PTES) postdoctoral fellowship.
Prior to this, I completed my PhD in the laboratory of Prof. Vincent Pasque (KU Leuven, Belgium), funded by a Research Foundation Flanders (FWO) Fellowship. During my PhD, I investigated chromatin regulation in human pluripotent stem cells and blastoids, as well as X-chromosome regulation in mouse iPSC reprogramming.
