Xingguo Liu, PI and Professor, Director of Institute of Development and Regeneration, Guangzhou Institutes of Biomedicine and Health, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was honored as “Distinguish Youth Foundation” of National Natural Science Foundation, Chief Scientist of the National Key Research and Development Program of China (Twice), “2016 Stem cell Young Investigator Award” from Chinese Society for Cell Biology. Since 2015, he has published 34 research papers as corresponding author (5 IF>20, 18 IF>10), such as Cell Metabolism (2016,2018, 2024), Nature Metabolism(2020, 2025), Nature Structural & Molecular Biology. Among his papers, 3 is F1000. The result of "The first discovery of the 14th protein encoded by the mitochondrial gene" was selected into the 2024 annual work report of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
