Dr. Shinsuke Yoshida (DMD, MBA, Ph.D.) is the senior manager of Research and Development Center, CiRA Foundation, an offshoot of the Center for iPS Cell Research and Application (CiRA), Kyoto University.
His research interests mainly include reduction of manufacturing costs of cell products for the development of regenerative medicine.
After about 10 years' experience in planetary science, he has engaged in dentistry for a short time, and after arriving at CiRA, Kyoto University, he has mainly engaged in the projects for the establishment of a clinical grade HLA homozygous iPSC haplobank with responsibility for quality assurance.
He is interested in life and society as a complex system as well as clinical application including social implementation of regenerative medicine.
