Dr. Jen Pan is Director of Translational Neurobiology at the Stanley Center for Psychiatric Research at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. Her research aims to bridge the gap between genetic discoveries and therapeutic development for severe psychiatric and neurological disorders. Her group focuses on translating insights from human genetics into biological understanding to drive the development of next-generation treatments for mental illness. Dr. Pan earned her PhD in Neuroscience and Molecular Pharmacology from Brown University. Prior to joining the Broad Institute, she worked as a research scientist at Scion Pharmaceuticals and Amgen.
