Dr. Hui Zhang earned a Ph.D. from East China Normal University in Shanghai, China, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor from 2013 to 2019. Since April 2019, Hui has been an independent Principal Investigator at Peking Union Medical College, Beijing. Research Focus: Dr. Zhang's laboratory is dedicated to advancing organoid technology in cardiovascular translational medicine. Hui's work involves multiomics research to identify interventional targets for heart disease, the use of human iPSCs-derived cardiac organoids for disease modeling and drug testing, and the development of high-throughput organoid analysis with qualitative methods. Hui's research aims to bridge the gap between basic research and clinical application, driving innovation in cardiovascular disease treatment.(orcid 0009-0008-0644-109X)
