Hyungtaek Jeon, PhD, is Head of Global
Business Development at XCELL Therapeutics, a biotech company specializing in animal-origin-free, chemically defined media for cell and gene therapy. He received his PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from Eulji Medical School and completed his postdoctoral training at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, focusing on stem cell-based immunomodulation. With over 10 years of experience in regenerative medicine, his research interests include mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), extracellular vesicles (EVs), and translational applications in CGT. At XCELL, Dr. Jeon leads global partnerships, regulatory strategy, and product innovation to support serum-free, scalable manufacturing solutions for next-generation therapeutics.
