Austin Passaro, PhD, is a Global Product Manager for MEA Systems at Axion BioSystems. His expertise is in neuroscience and stem cell biology, with a dedicated focus on enhancing platforms and technologies for neurological disease research. Dr. Passaro's work includes stem cell-derived models of motor neuron disease and neuroinflammation, microfluidic models of neurovascular units and neuromuscular junctions, as well as analysis methods for multielectrode array data. Ultimately, this work is centered around improving research tools and models to advance the understanding and treatment of neurological disorders and neurodegeneration.
