Kathy Niakan is Mary Marshall and Arthur Walton Professor of Reproductive Physiology, Director of the Centre for Trophoblast Research and Co-Chair of the Reproduction Interdisciplinary Research Centre at the University of Cambridge. She is also an affiliate member of the Cambridge Stem Cell Institute and the Babraham Institute. Her laboratory investigates the mechanisms that direct cell fate in human embryos and stem cells.
