Postdoctoral Researcher
Hannover Medical School
Kevin Ullmann is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Leibniz Research Laboratories for Biotechnology and Artificial Organs (LEBAO), Hannover Medical School (MHH), Germany.
Kevin Ullmann studied Biotechnology at the Technical University of Brunswick (Germany) and joined the Stem Cell Bioprocessing Team in the research group of Dr Robert Zweigerdt in January 2018 for his Master’s thesis. Soon after he started his PhD focusing on developing strategies for efficient high-density bioprocessing of human pluripotent stem cells. He is passionate about finding solutions for high-density cell freezing and developing an all-suspension-based process that can be scaled to envisioned future production scales. He was an invited speaker at the Stem Cell Community Day 2021, which was held in Cologne and his research has so far resulted in one co-authorship.
