Dr. Na’s research fields are stem cell biology and regenerative medicine, and early mammalian embryo development. Her research focus includes using stem cells-derived organoids to model embryo development and organ formation; the molecular mechanism of human pluripotent stem cell differentiation to cardiovascular and blood lineage cells. Dr. Na also collaborates with clinical doctors and tissue engineers to carry out translational research, using stem cells to create in vitro disease models, study the mechanism of disease, perform drug screening, and generate useful cell types for cell-based therapies.
