I am currently a 3rd year Ph.D. candidate from The University of Hong Kong. I received a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from De La Salle University in the Philippines and joined the group of Dr. Ralf Jauch in 2018 as a Master's student. Aside from academics, I am an active member of the student body being a student representative for the past 3 years. My research explores protein engineering and understanding sequence-structure-function relationships of transcription factors in gene regulation. I do this by utilizing both wet lab (biochemical assay) and dry lab (genomics and structural modeling) techniques.
