Steve OH is an independent cell therapy leader with 30+ years of experience in the biotechnology industry and academia. At the Agency for Science and Technology (A*STAR) for 22 years as Institute Scientist at the Bioprocessing Technology Institute (BTI), he was the inventor of NOVEL BIOPROCESSING SOLUTIONS such as microcarrier technologies, small molecules for differentiation, CRISPR activation, serum free media and monoclonal antibodies; holding 43 patents and published 140 papers. He also serves as an Adviser to companies, and Reviewer on several premier Cell & Gene Therapy Societies such as the International Society of Cell & Gene Therapy (ISCT), International Society of Stem Cell Research (ISSCR), International Stem Cell Banking Initiative (ISCBI), Global Alliance for iPSC Therapy (GAiT) and the Stem Cell Society Singapore (SCSS).
